Systems, are usualy away from headquarters, and, when it is necessary to give support, or to change some configurations, technicians must go to site. This is time expensive and not efficient.

If you have a computer on site and an internet connection you can use a remote desktop connection to give support, or if you have access to the internet router, you can create a Dynamic DNS access, and with port forwarding and static IP address, you access the M2M Gateway remotely. But this is not a common situation.

TCP Bind helps solve these difficulties because it is not needed to configure anything at the installation site.
